Basketball Recap: Centaurus Skates Past Niwot with Ease

After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Legacy, Centaurus was happy to have turned things around on Tuesday. They breezed by the Niwot Cougars to the tune of 56-17. The match marked the Warriors' most dominant victory of the season.

Ingrid Lorton continued her habit of posting crazy stat lines, dropping a double-double on 17 points and ten rebounds. She continues to improve, besting her previous point total in each of the last three games she's played. Another player making a difference was Rose Pacheco, who posted 13 points and six steals.

Centaurus' win ended a three-game drought on the road and puts them at 6-8. As for Niwot, they have been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 9-6 record this season.

Centaurus has already played their next game (against Fairview), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. Niwot will look to defend their home court on Friday against Mead at 5:30 p.m. Mead will roll in looking for their fifth straight victory, something Niwot surely won't give up without a fight.
