Soccer Recap: San Augustine Comes Up Short

If San Augustine was riding high fresh off their 7-3 takedown of Pollok Central last Tuesday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The San Augustine Wolves came up short against the New Summerfield Hornets on Thursday, falling 6-1. Things were pretty much settled by the half as Wolves were already down 3-0.

San Augustine's defeat dropped their record down to 2-2. As for New Summerfield, their victory bumped their record up to 3-0-1.

When San Augustine and New Summerfield next hit the pitch, they'll be up against teams who recently just can't seem to lose. San Augustine will try to stop Carlisle's three-game winning streak when the meet at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. Similarly, New Summerfield will take on Corrigan-Camden and their four-game winning streak at 7:00 p.m. on Monday.
