Basketball Recap: Stanley Victorious

After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Our Redeemer's Christian, Stanley was happy to have turned things around on Thursday. They snuck past the Beulah Goldiggers with a 50-44 win. This was payback for the Blue Jays, who suffered a 46-29 loss the last time these two teams met.

Stanley pushed their record up to 4-3 with the victory, which was their third straight at home. As for Beulah, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 1-4.

Stanley will finish 2024 at home by hosting Tioga at 5:00 p.m. on December 27th. As for Beulah, they will have a little extra prep time after the defeat as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Nedrose at 7:00 p.m. on December 30th.
