Soccer Recap: Dr. Phillips Falls Short of East Ridge in the Playoffs

Dr. Phillips and East Ridge squared off in some playoff action on Monday, but Dr. Phillips had to settle for second. They fell just short of the East Ridge Knights by a score of 3-2. The Panthers were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Knights earlier this season, when they won 3-1.

Dr. Phillips' defeat dropped their record down to 6-3-4. As for East Ridge, they have been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four contests, which provided a nice bump to their 9-7-3 record this season.

Dr. Phillips does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for East Ridge, they will face off against Windermere at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Windermere's last seven matchups have been decided by no more than a goal, so don't be surprised if it's a close one.
