Basketball Recap: Chilhowie Takes a Loss

Chilhowie lost against Grayson County back in December of 2023 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Wednesday. The Chilhowie Warriors lost 53-28 to the Grayson County Blue Devils.

Chilhowie's defeat dropped their record down to 5-10. As for Grayson County, the win was the third in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 8-3.

Chilhowie and Grayson County could both be facing uphill battles in their next games considering their disadvantage in the MaxPreps Virginia Rankings. Chilhowie will take on Honaker at 6:00 p.m. on Friday down 200 places (272 vs. 72). Similarly, Grayson County (ranked 153rd) will meet Fort Chiswell (ranked 41st) at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
