Calvin has gone a perfect 10-0 against Georgetown recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Friday. The Cougars will challenge the Bulldogs at 4:00 p.m. Calvin has given up an average of 6.9 runs per game this season, but Friday's game will give them a chance to turn things around.

It was a proper cat-fight when Calvin challenged Montgomery on Thursday. The Cougars lost 11-5 to the Tigers. The Cougars have struggled against the Tigers recently, as the game was their eighth consecutive lost meeting.

Kyleigh Blundell was cooking despite her team's loss, scoring a run while going 2-for-4. Mattie Barnes also deserves some recognition as she snagged her first stolen base of the season.

Meanwhile, Georgetown waltzed into their contest on Thursday with two straight wins... but they left with three. They walked away with a 5-1 win over the Panthers.

Georgetown now has a winning record of 11-10. As for Calvin, they now have a losing record of 10-11.

Everything went Calvin's way against Georgetown in their previous meeting back in March, as Calvin made off with a 9-2 victory. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Cougars since the team won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
