Basketball Recap: Sigourney Comes Up Short

Sigourney was the 74-53 winner over Centerville when they last played one another back in February of 2024, but their luck changed this time around. The Sigourney Savages took a hard 75-61 fall against the Centerville Big Reds/Redettes on Monday.

Sigourney's defeat dropped their record down to 16-6. As for Centerville, they are on a roll lately: they've won nine of their last 12 matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 12-8 record this season.

Sigourney does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Centerville, they will head out on the road to challenge Keokuk on February 18th.
