Despite a phenomenal run in the regular season, Neshoba Central couldn't carry that success into this playoff game. They lost 3-0 to Lake Cormorant on Monday. The Rockets' defeat signaled the end of their nine-game winning streak.

The final score came out to 25-17, 25-14, 25-16.

Lake Cormorant got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was Emily Huerta out in front who had 16 digs and two aces. Huerta is on a roll when it comes to aces, as she's now served two or more in each of the last five games she's played. Rebecca Rohrbacher was another key player, getting 13 digs.

Neshoba Central's loss dropped their record down to 30-6-1. As for Lake Cormorant, their victory was their 15th straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 33-8.

As of now, neither Neshoba Central nor Lake Cormorant have any future games scheduled.
