Basketball Recap: Stanley Takes a Loss

Stanley was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They fell 40-33 to the Converse Wildcats. The Panthers were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Wildcats earlier this season, when they won 45-40.

Stanley's record now sits at 11-13. As for Converse, their victory was their first in the district, bumping their district record up to 1-2 and their overall record up to 7-18.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Stanley will face off against Evans at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Converse has already played their next game (against Zwolle), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
