Riverton Parke has gone a perfect 10-0 against Covington recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Friday. The Panthers will challenge the Trojans at 6:30 p.m. Both squads will be entering this one on the heels of a big victory.
Riverton Parke is on a roll after a high-stakes playoff matchup on Thursday. Everything went their way against North Vermillion as they made off with a 13-1 win. The victory was familiar territory for the Panthers, who have now won five matchups in a row.

Aubri Morman was incredible, firing off four doubles, four RBI, and one run while going 4-for-4. Those four doubles gave her a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of Ashlyn Brenton, who went 2-for-4 with two runs, one triple, and two RBI.
They weren't the only ones making solid contact: Riverton Parke kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 15 hits. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now got at least 14 hits in three consecutive games.
Meanwhile, Covington never let their opponents score on Thursday. They put the hurt on Faith Christian with a sharp 10-0 win.
The result came thanks to Alexus Peaslee's shutout, as she gave up just a hit and racked up eight Ks.
On the hitting side, the team relied heavily on Lauren Hardy, who went 3-for-4 with four runs, two stolen bases, and one double. She is on a roll when it comes to stolen bases, as she's now snagged at least one in each of the last six games she's played. Ashlyn Alexander also deserves some recognition as she hit her first triple of the season.
Riverton Parke's record now sits at 20-8. As for Covington, their record is now 18-10.
Friday's contest might come down to which pitcher can control the ball better. Riverton Parke has hit smart this season, having averaged an OBP of .444. However, it's not like Covington struggles in that department as they've averaged .438. With both teams so capable at the plate, fans should be ready for an impressive hitting performance.
