The Casa Grande Gauchos will challenge the College Park Falcons at 9:00 a.m. on Thursday. Casa Grande is coming into the matchup hot, having won their last five games.

Lila Partridge spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered two runs (both of which were unearned) on two hits and racked up eight Ks. She has been nothing but reliable: she hasn't given up more than two walks in nine consecutive appearances.

On the hitting side, Abby McSweeney was incredible, going 3-for-4 with three doubles, two RBI, and one run. Those three doubles gave her a new career-high.
Meanwhile, College Park can bid farewell to their three-game losing streak thanks to their game on Thursday. They came out on top against Freedom by a score of 6-1.
College Park also let their pitcher toss all seven innings and she was also dialed-in: Savannah Wilson gave up only one earned run on eight hits. Those hits were Wilson's first of the season.
At the plate, the team relied heavily on Avery Rodriguez, who scored a run and stole a base while going 2-for-2. That stolen base was her first of the season. Viviana Moguel was another key player, scoring two runs while going 2-for-3.
Casa Grande's win was their fourth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 8-3-1. Those road victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 6.8 runs over those games. As for College Park, their win bumped their record up to 3-4.
College Park's hitters will have their work cut out for them on Thursday. Casa Grande has been retiring batters left and right this season, having averaged 9.4 strikeouts per game.
