Basketball Recap: Edgewood Comes Up Short

Edgewood lost against Mount Horeb back in January and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Edgewood Crusaders lost 73-51 to the Mount Horeb Vikings. While losing is never fun, the Crusaders can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Wisconsin basketball rankings (they are ranked 333rd, while the Vikings are ranked eighth).

Edgewood's loss dropped their record down to 4-17. As for Mount Horeb, the win was the sixth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 18-2.

Looking ahead, Edgewood will venture away from home to challenge Stoughton at 7:15 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Mount Horeb, they will welcome McFarland at 7:15 p.m. on Tuesday.
