Volleyball Recap: Moore Haven Comes Up Short

Moore Haven's tournament run continued when they took on Winter Springs on Friday. The Terriers fell just short of the Bears by a score of 2-1. The Terriers have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back matches.

Despite the loss, Moore Haven saw an underclassman step up: freshman Kulipa Julian had 16 digs and three assists. Julian is on a roll when it comes to digs, as she's now had 14 or more in each of the last five games she's played.

Moore Haven's defeat dropped their record down to 10-9. As for Winter Springs, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 10-8.

Moore Haven has already played their next matchup, a 2-1 win against Space Coast on the 4th. As for Winter Springs, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next contest, a 2-1 victory against New Smyrna Beach on the 4th.
