Softball Recap: Winston County Yellowjackets vs. Hubbertville Lions

Winston County won the last time they faced Hubbertville and things went their way on Wednesday too. The Yellowjackets came out on top against the Lions by a score of 12-8. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Yellowjackets.

NEVAEH TAYLOR spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered three earned (and five unearned) runs on ten hits. Those hits were her first of the season.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Winston County will head out to challenge Cold Springs at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Hubbertville, a feisty cat fight will be fought as Hubbertville Lions challenge Berry Wildcats at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday.
