Kenai Central is a perfect 4-0 against Seward since April of 2016 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Thursday. Meanwhile, Saturday just wasn't the day for Seward's offense. They lost 9-0 to Homer on Saturday. Seward have struggled against Homer recently, as the game was their fifth consecutive lost matchup.

Seward's defeat dropped their record down to 5-4. As for Kenai Central, their loss dropped their record down to 6-3.

Kenai Central got the 'W' when the teams last played back in April against Seward by a conclusive 7-1 score. In that matchup, the Kardinals amassed a halftime lead of 3-0, an impressive feat they'll look to repeat on Thursday.
