While Morgantown's victory against Oak Glen wasn't quite the blowout it was the last time the pair played, they still came out on top. Morgantown skirted past Oak Glen 8-6. The Mohigans have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Golden Bears on Saturday, too.

LIZ ALSOP made a splash while hitting and pitching. She struck out eight batters over seven innings while giving up five earned (and one unearned) runs off ten hits. ALSOP was even better at the plate, going 2-for-4 with one home run, three RBI, and two runs.

In other batting news, the team relied heavily on PAIGE RHODES, who went 3-for-4 with one home run, four RBI, and one double. Another player making a difference was GRACE ROBINSON, who went 2-for-4 with one home run and two runs.

Morgantown now has a winning record of 2-1. As for Oak Glen, their loss was their first of the season and also makes their record 2-1.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Morgantown will square off against Stevenson at 9:00 a.m. on Tuesday. As for Oak Glen, they will face off against Wheeling Park at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
