Volleyball Game Preview: Madison County Red Raiders vs. East Hall Vikings

Madison County has gone a perfect 10-0 against East Hall recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Thursday. The Red Raiders will head out to challenge the Vikings at 5:00 p.m. Madison County is coming into the matchup hot, having won their last four games.

The home team had won the previous four meetings between Madison County and Franklin County, and Madison County kept the tradition alive. The Red Raiders walked away with a 3-1 win over the Lions on Tuesday.

Madison County got the W, but it wasn't easy, at least in the third set. The final score came out to 25-14, 22-25, 30-28, 25-18.

Madison County can attribute much of their success to Sydney Ledford, who had 18 digs and five assists, and Kylee Treadway, who had five digs and two aces. That's the most digs Treadway has posted over her last 11 matches.

Meanwhile, East Hall was able to grind out a solid victory over West Hall on Tuesday, taking the game 2-0.

Madison County's record is now 18-16. As for East Hall, their record now sits at 8-25.

Madison County beat East Hall 2-0 in their previous meeting back in August. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Red Raiders since the squad won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
