Valley View came into their game on Friday off a hard-fought close win, but unfortunately suffered a serious change of fortune. They lost 3-0 to the Berwick Bulldogs. The Cougars' defeat signaled the end of their five-game winning streak.

Valley View's offense was headlined by Hanarra Semedo-Timas and Layla Marino, who picked up five kills apiece. They got some help from Madison Hallock and her seven assists. Finally, Nevaeh Evans kept Valley View's defense grounded, leading the team with four blocks.
