Baseball Recap: Waukesha South's Winning Streak Snapped at Three Games

After flying high against Cudahy last Monday, Waukesha South came back down to earth. The Blackshirts took a 9-4 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Catholic Memorial Crusaders on Tuesday. The Blackshirts were not able to make up for their loss to the Crusaders from their previous meeting back in April of 2024.

Waukesha South saw six different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Cal Stillman, who scored a run while going 2-for-4. Aiden Urban also deserves some recognition as he hit his first double of the season.

Waukesha South moved to 3-2 with that defeat, which also ended their three-game winning streak. As for Catholic Memorial, the victory snapped their losing streak at three games and leaves them with a 2-3 record.

Looking ahead, Waukesha South will square off against South Milwaukee at 4:45 p.m. on Wednesday. The Blackshirts are facing the Rockets at the right time seeing as the Rockets are stuck on a three-game losing streak. As for Catholic Memorial, they will challenge Sheboygan North at 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday. The Crusaders will also cruise into their next match with the timing on their side: the Golden Raiders will have lost five straight heading into Wednesday's game.
