Liberty got themselves on the board against Sunnyside on Monday, but Sunnyside never followed suit. They came out on top against the Wildcats by a score of 5-0. The victory continues a trend for the Hawks in their matchups with the Wildcats: they've now won five in a row.

Not much got past Daniel Sandate, who gave up just a hit to keep Sunnyside off the board.

At the plate, Mario Navarro was excellent, going 1-for-2 with two runs and one RBI.
