Football Recap: Northridge's Undefeated Season over After Three Games + How To Watch

If Northridge was riding high fresh off their 44-12 takedown of American Christian Academy last Friday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Jaguars took a 33-24 hit to the loss column at the hands of the McAdory Yellowjackets on Friday. The Jaguars have struggled against the Yellowjackets recently, as the game was their third consecutive lost matchup.

McAdory's win was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Kawann Johnson, who rushed for 134 yards and one score on only 14 carries. Another player making a difference was Justin Patton, who rushed for 67 yards and one TD.

Having lost for the first time this season, Northridge fell to 2-1. As for McAdory, the victory (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 3-0.

Coincidentally, Northridge and McAdory will both be playing Brookwood the next time they take the field. The Jaguars will host the Panthers at 7:00 p.m. on Friday, while the Yellowjackets will host them at 7:00 p.m. on the 19th.
