Basketball Recap: Peotone Comes Up Short

After flying high against Grant Park last Sunday, Peotone came back down to earth. The Blue Devils took a 79-60 bruising from the Bishop McNamara Fightin' Irish on Tuesday. The defeat continues a trend for the Blue Devils in their meetings with the Fightin' Irish: they've now lost seven in a row.

Peotone's loss dropped their record down to 7-7. As for Bishop McNamara, their win bumped their record up to 14-3.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Peotone will face off against Herscher at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Bishop McNamara, they won't have much time to rest: their next matchup is against Chesterton Academy of the Holy Family at 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
