Volleyball Recap: Western Harnett Eagles vs. Harnett Central Trojans        
        
		
             Western Harnett was not able to break out of their rough patch  on Thursday as the team picked up their third straight  defeat. They lost  3-0 to the Harnett Central Trojans. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Eagles of the  3-0 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture  back in August.
 Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-16, 25-15,  25-12.
 Harnett Central can attribute much of their success to  Ava Faucette, who  had ten  kills, three  digs, and two  aces. Faucette is  on a roll when it comes to  kills, as she's  now  had six or more in the last six games she's  played dating back to last season.
 Western Harnett's defeat dropped their record down to 3-10. As for Harnett Central, the  win was  the eighth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 12-2.
 Western Harnett didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next  game,  a  3-0  loss vs. Pine Forest on the 17th. After both having extra time off, Harnett Central and Westover will shake off the cobwebs and  face off against  one another  at 6:00  p.m.  on Wednesday. The timing is sure in Harnett Central's favor as the  team sits on eight straight wins at home (dating back to last season) while Westover has been banged up by five consecutive losses on the road.
