Baseball Recap: Riverton Comes Up Short

Riverton fought the good fight in their extra-innings contest against Bingham on Wednesday but wound up with a less-than-desirable result. They fell just short of the Miners by a score of 5-4. The Silverwolves have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Mason Glauser was a force to be reckoned with on the mound despite the final result: he struck out ten batters over 5.1 innings while giving up just two earned runs off five hits.

On the hitting side, Cohen Allred was cooking despite his team's loss, going 2-for-3 with one stolen base, two RBI, and one double.

Riverton's loss dropped their record down to 17-8. As for Bingham, the win made it two in a row for them and also bumps their season record up to 17-8.

As of now, neither Riverton nor the Miners have any future games scheduled.
