It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact West Ranch can now relate to. They fell just short of the St. Bonaventure Seraphs by a score of 8-7 on Saturday. The Wildcats' loss signaled the end of their nine-game winning streak.

TORREY PRICE was cooking despite her team's loss, going 2-for-4 with two runs and one triple.

West Ranch's defeat dropped their record down to 17-15. As for St. Bonaventure, they are on a roll lately: they've won six of their last seven games. That's provided a nice bump to their 18-11 record this season.

West Ranch and St. Bonaventure are set to take part in some playoff action in their next matches. The Wildcats are taking a road trip to square off against Olympian at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The Eagles will roll in looking for their 14th straight victory, something West Ranch surely won't give up without a fight. As for St. Bonaventure, they will be playing at home against Southwest EC at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Both teams are headed into the matchup with plenty of momentum (the Seraphs have won three straight at home, while the Eagles won three straight on the road), something that'll have to change.
