Volleyball Recap: Cuyahoga Valley Christian Academy Comes Up Short at Home Against Kenston

Cuyahoga Valley Christian Academy unfortunately couldn't capitalize on their home-court advantage in their season opener. They fell just short of the Kenston Bombers by a score of 2-1 on Saturday. The Royals have struggled against the Bombers recently, as the game was their fifth consecutive lost matchup.

In a back-and-forth that saw neither team win consecutive sets, Cuyahoga Valley Christian Academy sadly dropped the once that decided the match. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-23, 25-27, 25-19.

Coincidentally, Cuyahoga Valley Christian Academy and Kenston will both be playing Stow-Munroe Falls the next time they take the court. The Bombers will host the Bulldogs at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, while the Royals will play them later in the day, at 12:00 p.m.
