Football Game Preview: Brunswick Bulldogs vs. Franklin Broncos + How To Watch

The Brunswick Bulldogs will venture away from home to face off against the Franklin Broncos at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Brunswick has given up an average of 34.4 points per game this season, but Friday's game will give them a chance to turn things around.

The home team had come away the winner the last four times Brunswick and Southampton had met, but sadly for the fans who attended this one that wasn't the case. The Bulldogs took a blow against the Indians on Thursday, falling 49-14. Bulldogs fans who chose to attend the game sure picked the wrong one: it was the first time the team has lost against the Indians since Thursday.

Meanwhile, Franklin was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They took a 25-14 hit to the loss column at the hands of Surry County.

Brunswick's loss dropped their record down to 1-6. As for Franklin, their defeat dropped their record down to 2-4.

Everything came up roses for Brunswick against Franklin in their previous matchup back in October of 2024, as the team secured a 33-6 victory. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Bulldogs since the squad won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
