Softball Recap: Pennridge's Luck Takes a Turn for the Worse on Friday

It was a good run, but Pennridge unfortunately witnessed the end of their five-game winning streak on Friday. They came up short against the Neshaminy Skins, falling 15-2. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest defeat the Rams have suffered since March 19th.

Pennridge saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Emerson Lesher, who went 1-for-2 with one stolen base, one run, and one double. Another was Averi Dockery, who went 1-for-2 with one stolen base and one run.

Pennridge's loss dropped their record down to 9-9. As for Neshaminy, they have been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 5-3 record this season.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Pennridge will head out to challenge Central Bucks East at 3:45 p.m. on Monday. The Patriots have struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 6.6 runs per game on average), something the Rams will no doubt try to take advantage of. As for Neshaminy, they will take on Bensalem at 3:45 p.m. on Tuesday.
