Baseball Recap: Episcopal Comes Up Short

Tuesday just wasn't the day for Episcopal's offense. They took a 4-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Georgetown Prep Little Hoyas on Tuesday. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Maroon of the 14-1 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in April of 2024.

Episcopal has also been struggling recently as they've lost five of their last six matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 3-9-1 record this season. As for Georgetown Prep, the victory was the fourth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 7-5.

While Episcopal had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday.
