Mundelein lost against Hampshire back in September and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Mustangs took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Whip-Purs. The Mustangs' loss signaled the end of their three-game winning streak.

Mundelein was the model of consistency in the loss, scoring 20 points in every single set they played. The final score came out to 25-20, 25-20.

Leading Hampshire to victory were Peyton Wurtz and Megan Spenk. Wurtz had 12 digs and three assists, while Spenk had eight digs and two assists. Those eight digs gave Spenk a new career-high.

Mundelein's defeat dropped their record down to 20-18. As for Hampshire, they are on a roll lately: they've won 19 of their last 20 matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 31-5 record this season.
