Basketball Recap: Aiden Mcwilliams' Big Game Can't Quite Lead Woodlake over Shafter

Woodlake saw some tournament action on Monday. They took a 47-35 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Shafter Generals. The game marked the Tigers' lowest-scoring contest so far this season.

Woodlake's defeat came despite a true team effort with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Aiden McWilliams, who posted eight points.

Woodlake's loss dropped their record down to 3-2. As for Shafter, they have been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four matchups. That's provided a massive bump to their 3-3 record this season.

Woodlake wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 56-47 defeat against Riverdale on the 25th. As for Shafter, they have also already played their next game, a 54-30 win against Wonderful College Prep Academy on the 25th.
