 The Warren Central Warriors will head out on the road to  face off against  the Pike Red Devils at 5:30  p.m.  on Wednesday. Warren Central is no doubt hoping to put an end to  a five-game streak of away losses dating back to last season.
 On Tuesday, it was a hard-fought  game, but Warren Central had to settle for  a  7-6 defeat against Pike.
  Anthony Dennison put in work while hitting and pitching. On the mound, he  pitched 4.2 innings while giving up just one earned run off   three  hits. Dennison has been consistent recently: he hasn't  given up  more than two  walks in three consecutive pitching appearances. Dennison was also solid in the batter's box,  going 3-for-4 with  an  RBI.
 In other batting news,  Dylan Thompson was cooking despite his team's loss,   going 1-for-4 with a  triple, a  run,  and  an  RBI.  Lucas Hobbs was another key contributor,  scoring two  runs while  getting on base  in two of his four plate appearances.
 Warren Central now  has a losing record at 4-5. As for Pike, their win  ended  a  three-game drought on the road  and  puts them at 2-6.
 The batters for both teams will have to hit smart  on Wednesday as both have some strikeout artists on the roster. Warren Central has been retiring batters left and right this season,  having  averaged 7  strikeouts per game. However, it's not like Pike struggles in that department as   they've been averaging 6.8.
