Baseball Recap: Bangor Slaters vs. Salisbury Township Falcons
Bangor lost against Salisbury Township back in April of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Slaters took a 12-7 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Falcons. The Slaters have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.
Nolan Koza made the most of his time at bat despite the final result and scored a run while going 2-for-4. That run marked the first that he scored this season. Alex Farensbach was another key player, scoring a run while getting on base in three of his four plate appearances.
Bangor's loss dropped their record down to 1-6-1. As for Salisbury Township, the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 7-1.
Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Bangor will host Palisades at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Salisbury Township, they will be playing at home against Executive Education Academy Charter School at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday. The Falcons are facing the Raptors at the right time seeing as the Raptors are stuck on a three-game losing streak.
