Basketball Recap: Nome-Beltz Comes Up Short

Nome-Beltz lost against Barrow on Friday, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. The Nome-Beltz Nanooks were outmatched by the Barrow Whalers and fell 77-27. The contest marked the Nanooks' lowest-scoring game so far this season.

Nome-Beltz's defeat was their fourth straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 10-8. As for Barrow, they are on a roll lately: they've won eight of their last nine matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 18-4 record this season.

As of now, neither Nome-Beltz nor Barrow have any future games scheduled.
