Basketball Recap: Rancho Bernardo Find Success

Rancho Bernardo won the last time they faced Del Norte, and Lindsay Biddle did her part to make sure it happened again. The Rancho Bernardo Broncos breezed by the Del Norte Nighthawks to the tune of 71-37 on Tuesday thanks in part to Biddle, who posted 25 points. That makes it three consecutive games in which she has scored at least a third of Rancho Bernardo's points.

Del Norte lost despite a true team effort on offense, the best among them being Emerson Cole, who made all 5 shots she took racking up 16 points. Izzy Mercado was another key player, putting up eight points.

Rancho Bernardo's win bumped their record up to 19-4. As for Del Norte, they have also been struggling recently as they've lost six of their last seven contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 6-17 record this season.

Rancho Bernardo has already played their next match, a 69-28 defeat against Mission Hills on the 31st. As for Del Norte, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next game, a 58-52 victory against Fallbrook on the 31st.
