Softball Recap: McMahon Takes a Loss

McMahon fell victim to New Canaan and their airtight pitching crew on Tuesday. They lost 17-0 to the Rams. The loss continues a trend for the Senators in their meetings with the Rams: they've now lost four in a row.

McMahon's defeat dropped their record down to 3-9. As for New Canaan, the victory was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 9-1.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. McMahon will square off against rival Norwalk at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Meanwhile, New Canaan is set to challenge their familiar foe Darien at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday. The two teams have allowed few runs on average (the Rams 2.2, the Blue Wave 1.6) so any runs scored will be well earned.
