Gainesville hadn't done well against Hartville recently (they were 2-7 in their previous nine matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Thursday. The Bulldogs came out on top against the Eagles by a score of 44-34. For the Bulldogs, this counts as revenge for the 41-27 win the Eagles walked away with the last time they faced one another back in December of 2024.

The victory made it two in a row for Gainesville and bumps their season record up to 3-1. As for Hartville, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-3.
