Football Recap: Corona Del Sol Keeps O'connor's Under Pressure

After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Pinnacle, Corona del Sol was happy to have turned things around on Friday. They secured a 26-21 W over the O'Connor Eagles. For the Aztecs, this counts as revenge for the 56-28 victory the Eagles walked away with the last time they faced one another back in September of 2015.

Luke Farrell was nothing short of spectacular: he threw for 270 yards and two TDs, and also rushed for 36 yards and one score.

Despite the loss, O'Connor still got an impressive performance from Jeremy Adeyanju, who rushed for 148 yards and one touchdown on only 14 carries. Adeyanju's longest rush was for an impressive 62 yards, which helps to explain his lofty yards per carry total.

The win got Corona del Sol back to even at 2-2. As for O'Connor, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-3.
