Baseball Recap: Geneva Comes Up Short

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Geneva can now relate to. They fell just short of the Trinity Christian Academy Eagles by a score of 6-4 on Tuesday. The defeat continues a trend for the Knights in their meetings with the Eagles: they've now lost seven in a row.

Geneva saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Kale Blanchette, who went 1-for-3 with one stolen base and two RBI.

Geneva's loss dropped their record down to 17-7. As for Trinity Christian Academy, they are on a roll lately: they've won ten of their last 12 matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 15-14 record this season.

As of now, neither Geneva nor Trinity Christian Academy have any future games scheduled.
