Softball Recap: Southeast Career Tech Comes Up Short

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Southeast Career Tech can now relate to. They fell 12-7 to the Foothill Falcons on Thursday. The Roadrunners were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Falcons earlier this season, when they won 18-6.

Southeast Career Tech has also traveled a rocky road recently, having lost three of their last four games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 18-11 record this season. As for Foothill, the victory was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 13-11-1.

Southeast Career Tech does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Foothill, they will square off against Legacy at 4:00 p.m. on Friday. The Falcons' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Longhorns have averaged an impressive 9.2 runs per game this season.
