Knoxville Central entered their tilt with Campbell County on Thursday with two consecutive wins, and they'll enter their next game with three. They put the hurt on the Cougars with a sharp 3-0 victory. The Bobcats have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Cougars, too.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-18, 25-11, 25-13.

Knoxville Central's offense was headlined by Ally Bryant and Pyper Clevinger, who picked up eight kills apiece. Clevinger really made an impact as she also led the team in assists with ten. She was also solid from the service line: she led the team with seven aces.

Knoxville Central's win bumped their record up to 3-0. As for Campbell County, they are on a nine-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-2.

Knoxville Central wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next match, a 2-1 loss against Battle Ground Academy on the 22nd. As for Campbell County, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 3-0 defeat against Clinton on the 26th.
