It was fun while it lasted, but UIC College Prep's undefeated season came to an end after four games on Tuesday. They took a 33-22 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Noble Street College Prep Golden Tigers. The matchup marked the Firecats' lowest-scoring game so far this season.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Noble Street College Prep to victory, but perhaps none more so than Ariana Bahena, who posted nine points in addition to six rebounds and three steals. Bahena has been hot recently, having posted two or more steals the last three times she's played. Another player making a difference was Tiffany Gaona, who had six points and ten boards.

Having lost for the first time this season, UIC College Prep fell to 4-1. As for Noble Street College Prep, they are on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four contests, which provided a nice bump to their 7-4 record this season.

UIC College Prep will have a little extra prep time after the defeat as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Golder at 6:30 p.m. on January 28th. As for Noble Street College Prep, they will face off against Southland College Prep at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday.
