Del Oro had to hit the road for their first game and it wasn't the result they were hoping for. The match between them and the Reed Raiders wasn't particularly close, with the Del Oro Golden Eagles falling 28-14. While losing is never fun, the Golden Eagles can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' football rankings in their respective home states (they are ranked 131st in California, while the Raiders are ranked ninth in Nevada).
