North Edgecombe typically has all the answers at home, but on Monday Warren County proved too difficult a challenge. They walked away with a 62-52 win over the North Edgecombe Warriors. This was a revenge game for the Eagles: when they faced off against the Warriors back in January, they had to take a 51-48 loss.

Warren County has been performing well recently as they've won six of their last eight matches, which provided a nice bump to their 13-9 record this season. The wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 51.6 points over those games. As for North Edgecombe, their defeat dropped their record down to 15-7.

Coming up, Warren County won't have much time to rest: their next game is against Wilson Prep at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Wilson Prep will roll in looking for their 16th straight victory, something Warren County surely won't give up without a fight. North Edgecombe does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
