Basketball Recap: Alsea Comes Up Short

Alsea lost against Eddyville back in January and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Alsea Wolverines lost to the Eddyville Eagles at home by a 47-33 margin.

Alsea dropped their record down to 9-14 with the loss, which was their fourth straight at home. As for Eddyville, they are on a roll lately: they've won 17 of their last 18 matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 21-5 record this season.

Looking ahead, Alsea will be playing at home against Triangle Lake at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Eddyville, they will challenge Mohawk at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Mohawk has a tough task ahead: they'll enter the contest with five straight defeats, while Eddyville will come in with six straight victories.
