Volleyball Game Preview: To'hajiilee Warriors vs. Tse' Yi' Gai Dine Warriors

The To'hajiilee Warriors will square off against the Tse' Yi' Gai Dine Warriors at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday. Both come into the matchup bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

To'hajiilee saw some tournament action on Friday. They came out on top against Jemez Valley by a score of 3-1.

To'hajiilee had a slow start but a hot finish: after dropping the first set, they turned around to win the next three. The match finished with set scores of 20-25, 25-15, 25-15, 25-16.

Meanwhile, Tse' Yi' Gai beat Socorro 3-1 on Friday.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-11, 25-7, 13-25, 25-16.

To'hajiilee's first victory this season bumped their record up to 1-2. As for Tse' Yi' Gai, their win (their first of the season) made their record 1-3.

To'hajiilee was able to grind out a solid victory over Tse' Yi' Gai in their previous matchup back in October of 2024, winning 3-1. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Warriors since the squad won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
