Volleyball Recap: Jurupa Valley Snaps Three-Game Streak of Wins at Home

Jurupa Valley lost against Woodcrest Christian back in April of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Jaguars fell 3-1 to the Royals.

While Jurupa Valley had to settle for second, they sure made a game of it, scoring at least 19 points in every set they played. The match finished with set scores of 25-19, 21-25, 25-23, 25-21.

Jurupa Valley's defeat ended a three-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 9-6. As for Woodcrest Christian, they are on a roll lately: they've won seven of their last eight contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 14-3 record this season.

Jurupa Valley will welcome Norte Vista at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The Braves will roll in looking for their fourth straight win, something the Jaguars surely won't give up without a fight. As for Woodcrest Christian, they will venture away from home to take on Arrowhead Christian at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
