Del Norte proved they can win big on Friday (they won by six) and on Saturday they proved they can win the close ones too. They had just enough and edged out the St. Bernard's Crusaders 4-2. The victory continues a trend for the Warriors in their matchups with the Crusaders: they've now won three in a row.

Del Norte hit smart and finished the game with only two strikeouts. The team's really been improving in that area: they've now improved their strikeout total in four consecutive contests.

The win got Del Norte back to even at 4-4. As for St. Bernard's, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 2-3.
