Football Game Preview: Benedictine Bengals vs. Lutheran East Falcons

The Benedictine Bengals will face off against the Lutheran East Falcons at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Benedictine's defense has only allowed 7.8 points per game this season, so Lutheran East's offense will have their work cut out for them.

Benedictine blew Lake Catholic out of the water the last time the pair played, but last Friday Lake Catholic got their revenge. The Bengals fell just short of the Cougars by a score of 6-3. The contest marked the Bengals' lowest-scoring game so far this season.

Meanwhile, winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Lutheran East). They breezed past East Tech to the tune of 42-0 on Friday. The team's explosion on offense also rewarded the Falcons with their most commanding win of the season.

The victory got Lutheran East back to even at 3-3. As for Benedictine, their defeat was their first of the season and makes their record 4-1.
