Basketball Recap: North Iowa Comes Up Short

North Iowa lost against Garner-Hayfield/Ventura back in December of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The North Iowa Bison fell 54-45 to the Garner-Hayfield/Ventura Cardinals. The Bison have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

North Iowa's defeat dropped their record down to 4-8. As for Garner-Hayfield/Ventura, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 7-5.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. North Iowa will face off against St. Ansgar at 7:45 p.m. on Thursday. As for Garner-Hayfield/Ventura, they will square off against Forest City at 7:45 p.m. on Friday. Garner-Hayfield/Ventura has been getting the ball to fall more lately as they've increased their point totals each of their last three games.
